Degree seeking applicants should create an account and apply through our admissions portal at admissions.drew.edu/apply.
Qualified high school students (rising high school juniors and seniors only) are invited to take introductory or intermediate level courses on a space available basis. To qualify for the program, you must be in the top 20% of your class with demonstrated academic and extracurricular achievement. Credits earned in this program may be applied toward a degree from Drew University or transferred to another college.
Additional Materials Required for your Application Application materials should be emailed to owl@drew.edu or sent to the Director of Continuing Education, Drew University, Madison, NJ 07940. If sent directly from your high school, the transcript and letters can be sent electronically to sbhargav@drew.edu. The Admissions Committee will evaluate an application after the following documents have been received by the Office of Continuing Education: 1. An official transcript of your high school record 2. A letter of recommendation from your guidance counselor 3. A letter of recommendation from a high school teacher 4. Personal Statement (explaining your reasons for wanting to attend classes at Drew) Students interested in intermediate or upper-level courses in the undergraduate curriculum may be required to have an interview and permission from the course instructor.DEADLINES Fall Semester: August 1 Spring Semester: January 1 Summer Session I: May 10 Summer Session II: June 22TUITION AND FEES INFORMATION: Tuition for high school students enrolled in on-campus undergraduate courses is $500 per credit plus fees as indicated online. No additional discounts apply. Tuition fee does not include the cost of books or any other required course materials.
Non-matriculating students wishing to take college courses for credit may apply to this program. Special and Visiting students may attend Drew classes on a space-available basis providing all course prerequisites have been met (some exceptions may apply.) Special and Visiting students may study at Drew on a part-time or full-time basis for a maximum of two semesters. Campus housing is available for full-time students if space is available. Students admitted to this program register no earlier than one month prior to the first day of classes for each semester. Tuition and other charges are payable at registration. Please note that financial assistance is not available for this program. Drew University’s Community Education Audit (CEA) program provides adult community members and visiting Au Pairs, the opportunity to sit in on undergraduate courses during the fall and spring terms at a substantially reduced fee. Please complete the form below.
