Curious about our History & Culture program?
We are offering live access to an actual virtual class!

Join Professor Jonathan Rose for his Europe and the World Historiography class on October 21st (3:45-5:00 PM EDT).

This course focuses on the literature examining the relationship between Europe and the rest of the World and exposes students to numerous historical approaches over a variety of subjects and time periods concerning European Empire, colonization, and de-colonization, as opposed to providing a comprehensive history. The goal is to understand the kinds of questions historians ask and the various methodologies they use to study that past.

This online class will be devoted to "Revisiting Appeasement."
Visiting students are welcome to do the reading.
We will be discussing Andrew David Stedman's Alternatives to Appeasement: Neville Chamberlain and Hitler's Germany (I. B. Tauris).

Don't forget to attend our Caspersen School of Graduate Studies Virtual Open House immediately following this class on October 21st (5:00-6:30 PM EDT).

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
